April 26, 2025 is the annual Pancreatic Cancer Walk. Knowing you guys, I’m positive you’ll want to make an impact that day by donating to a worthy cause — and I’ve got the perfect one.


As most know Pancreatic Cancer affected Andy, my husband, in February 2022.. And I must say it was a brutal year! Andy is a 3 year survivor and this walk has been something we are very proud of to have been and will continue to participate in!

I’ll be taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride — PanCAN’s biggest fundraising event of the year — and you can help us hit our fundraising goal. We have set a goal of $2,500.00

The money raised supports areas that are important to me, like research and providing those affected by pancreatic cancer with free, personalized help through PanCAN Patient Services.

Will you participate by donating to our PurpleStride fundraiser? Not only will you get us one step closer to ending this disease, but you’ll provide hope for those who need it most.
If you would like to join us for the walk on Saturday April 26, 2025 the event village opens at 7:30 am with the walk starting after a few acknowledgements of survivors!
It is being held at the Parklands of Floyd’s Fork at Beckley Creek.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
