Thank you for supporting Mike's PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need you to do it!

We are taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in Norfolk's Lafayette Park.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.  My brother, Carl, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in 2013 just twelve weeks after being diagnosed.  Kathleen was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2023  She has already benefitted from some of the research that has been done and she is a clinical trials patient for a  series of immunotherapy treatments that began last year.

Here’s where you come in! we have set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
