Dear family and friends,
In honor of loved ones, my students and I are raising awareness of Pancreatic  Cancer.

Since 2020, Denise Monpremier Joseph, Alexandre Monpremier, Castel Monpremier, and Jeanine Monpremier have been lost to this disease.

While family members could not be saved, the goal is to make the biggest possible impact on the lives of current pancreatic cancer patients – and your help is needed!

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, we will take steps at PurpleStride to end pancreatic cancer. PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research to bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
