Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

It's been a long year since the loss of my best friend Judy in November 2024 and I miss her every day and in innumerable ways.     

Judy's friends and family have renewed the commitment to a BIG fundraising goal for PurpleStride 2026 scheduled for 4/25/26.   PanCan funds important clinical trials as well as new investigators to draw talent to the battle against  pancreatic cancer and its abysmal 13% five year survival rate. 

PurpleStride is how we help.  Survival must become the expectation and NOT the exception.

Last year, Judy's community donated over $33,000 in her honor to team Judy's Beauties, ranking the team as one of the top ten friends & family fundraising teams!!  This success was acknowledged with the team name on the back of the event t-shirt.  With your help, we are determined to raise even more this year. 

We walk April 25th - less than one week after Judy would have celebrated her 61st birthday.   

Let’s show everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer that we’re fighting for them.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
