Welcome to my PanCAN Fundraising Page!

Hi, I’m Evan Skopp. Last year, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer—a diagnosis that instantly turned my life upside down.

In the days after hearing the words no one ever wants to hear, I reached out to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network ("PanCAN"). What they sent me wasn’t just information: it was a lifeline. Their incredibly thorough resources, guidance, and patient support have been there for me at every step of this journey. 

As of today, I'm in remission and I'm hoping to join a clinical trial for an experimental drug. But pancreas cancer has an 80% recurrence rate and only a 13% five-year survival rate. 

That’s why I’m asking for your help.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, I’ll be participating virtually in PanCAN PurpleStride: the Walk to End Pancreatic Cancer. PurpleStride raises critical funds for PanCAN, fueling lifesaving research, expanding patient services, and accelerating progress toward better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

Your donation truly makes a difference. Every dollar supports patients like me who are navigating a pancreas cancer diagnosis and fighting for more time, better options, and hope. No gift is too small.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
