Welcome to our team fundraising page!
MICHAEL'S KC WARRIORS will be participating in the 2026 Kansas City PurpleStride event in memory of Michael Letourneau, who courageously fought pancreatic cancer with his unique sense of humor and the love of his family and friends. We are also walking to honor the memory of all of those we have lost and those currently fighting this disease. This is our fifth year participating in PurpleStride, We hope you will join us in bringing awareness of the symptoms and the fight to erase pancreatic cancer.
In 2026 it is estimated that 67,530 people will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and 52,740 will die from it. It is the third leading cause of cancer deaths. The five-year survival rate remains at 13%. No other cancer has a five-year survival rate of less than 20%. PanCAN has set a bold goal of reaching a five-year survival rate of 20% by 2030.
Please join us as a participant or make a gift of any size to get us one step closer to our fundraising goal and improving more patients' lives. You can donate to a team member or make a general donation to MICHAEL'S KC WARRIORS.
Thank you very much for your support!
