We do this walk to honor Rosie Stevens who was taken from this early plain on April 30, 2025.
Rosie was a Socal Native born in the LBC on November 25, 1946. She is survived by her husband Jim; her kids Pop, Missy, David & Stephanie (Nani). Along with many other beloved family members, grand children, GREAT grand children, friends, and of course her cats. Rosie loved The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Dopey, The Los Angeles Dodgers, and taking her daily walks. Rosie was full of life which is why it was devastating to get the pancreatic cancer diagnosis in the fall of 2021. She underwent treatment for a number of years and even did this PanCAN PurpleStride walk 3 years in a row! She was a rockstar and just wanted to keep going and loving us all. While she wasn't able to stay here, she fought the good fight and is still loving us from the beyond. We love you Mom!
This year Team Nozee Rosie is taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients ? and we need your help to do that!
PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.
Here?s where you come in! We?ve set an ambitious fundraising goal ? because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make ? and would appreciate a gift of any size to help us get there.

Patients and families need us now more than ever.
Thank you for your support!
