Did you know that in 2025, 67,440 people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer—an increase of 6,000 from last year—and 51,750 will lose their lives? Pancreatic cancer has the highest mortality rate of all major cancers, and the 5-year survival rate is only 13%.

For my family, these numbers are personal. Over the past three years, we’ve lost four loved ones to pancreatic cancer, including my aunt, Jeanine Monpremier, on May 1, 2024.

This year, Lakay is stepping up again to make the biggest impact possible for patients and families—and we need YOU to help us do it!

On Saturday, April 25, 2025, we’ll join PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer. Every dollar raised funds critical research, new treatment options, and free, personalized support for patients and families.
