Team Gerrystrong96 is ready to continue our mission for PanCAN, raising funds through the Purple Stride 2026 event for pancreatic cancer awareness and research!

 

We're proud to be taking steps as a team to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN?s biggest community event of the year, PanCAN PurpleStride!

 

Gerry Samudio was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in December of 2023. He fought a tough but positive minded battle until October 19, 2024. Throughout his battle, he shared his story with thousands through his community in San Diego CA where he was born and raised; with his community in Monterey, CA where he graduated from Cal State University Monterey Bay and raised his daughter and met his soulmate that was by his side throughout his whole battle, and with the Twitch.tv community of DJ's, streamers and viewers who we consider part of our family. As difficult as things became, he gave everything he could and made it known to continue sharing his story after he was no longer with us physically. He remains very strong in our hearts, minds and memories; and we need your help to keep that message loud and making a difference.  

 

To make the biggest difference, we?ve set an ambitious team fundraising goal and need your help ? will you donate to our fundraiser? You can donate directly to the team (which will not go toward a specific team member?s goal) or you can select a team member and donate toward that person's fundraising goal (which will also support the team?s goal)!
