This is my PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Ask!
My good friend of 20 years, PAGE DAHL CROSLAND, was diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer in September 2023. Page was very brave all through her bi-monthly chemotherapy treatments. The chemo enabled her to live a good 18 months after her initial diagnosis.
Page passed away on February 10, 2025, doing home hospice. She was surrounded with love from her devoted son DAVID and daughter CATHERINE, long-time friends and faithful dog MISHKA.
In addition, my sister LAURA ANN has been in and out of the hospital for several years dealing with chronic pancreatitis.
That's why I have been making bi-monthly contributions to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network through a workplace giving program for the past two years.
I'm also taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer on Saturday, April 26, 2025 – at the PanCAN PurpleStride Fundraising Event.
Our economy is struggling and our investment accounts are bruised and battered, I know. I set an ambitious fundraising goal for "TEAM SWEET PEA" of $1,051 before the stock market tanked this month.
No donation is too small. It's really the thought that counts right now. In these challenging financial times, I will be profoundly grateful for any donation that you can make.
A gift of any size will help patients and families facing pancreatic cancer. PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.
As always, thank you for all your support, SWEET PEA!
