To know Cheryl was to love her. On December 2, 2022, our beloved sister, mom, wife, daughter, and friend ended her courageous nine-month battle with Stage IV pancreatic cancer. Through every challenge, Cheryl held onto hope—hope for better outcomes, hope for a breakthrough, and hope that her story would help others. During this journey, the PanCAN community supported Cheryl and our family with resources, guidance, compassion, and connection when we needed it most.
We walk—and continue to walk—because Cheryl believed in a future where pancreatic cancer is detected earlier, treated more effectively, and survived more often.
Our mission continues.
Cheryl's Hope is committed to raising awareness, driving change, and fueling progress for everyone affected by this devastating disease. Every step we take honors Cheryl’s strength, love, and unwavering positivity.
