We lost a beloved father, grandfather, and brother, Jim Vizcarra, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer in July 2015. In his memory, we're proud to come together as a team to take meaningful steps toward ending pancreatic cancer.

Join us as we honor his legacy and support PanCAN's biggest community event of the year - PurpleStride - to bring hope, raise awareness, and make a difference for everyone affected by this disease.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
