Thanks for supporting our PanCAN PurpleStride team fundraiser!
 
On October 22, 2025, my sister Roberta (Kosloskey) Gable, lost her short battle with pancreatic cancer.  As many others, she was taken too early, in a short time.  Had there been a screening option to prevent this, she would have had it done.  Bobi was an activist and found different things she could get involved in to help make a difference.

This team is for my sister Bobi, to honor her memory, to help prevent another life from being taken too early & too quickly.
 
PurpleStride is an inspiring event for anyone who has been affected by pancreatic cancer and wants to ensure vital research continues and free resources are made available to all who need them.
 
To make the biggest difference, we?ve set an ambitious team fundraising goal and need your help ? will you donate to our fundraiser? You can donate directly to the team (which will not go toward a specific team member?s goal) or you can select a team member and donate toward that person's fundraising goal (which will also support the team?s goal)!
 
A gift of any size will provide much-needed hope for a brighter future for the entire pancreatic cancer community.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
