Welcome to our team fundraising page!
We lost my mother to pancreatic cancer in 2018. For the 10 years leading up to 2018, Mom fought the disease like a champ. She took everything in stride and never complained about the hand she'd been dealt. At the time of her whipple surgery in 2008, she'd already been spending winters in FL for 4-5 years. She spent the next 10 winters of her life in FL as well. Not once in 15 years in FL did she ever pump her own gas. She outright refused saying that "Jersey Girls Don't Pump Gas". I used to joke with her that the only thing she fought harder than cancer was pumping her own gas. This page is dedicated to my mother & all the other brave fighters who kept a feisty spirit in the face of cancer. Please join our team & join the fight against pancreatic cancer. I'll be hosting a walk at the Jersey Shore on 4/25 but you can make the walk wherever you are. - Tom Kimmins
