Hi guys, as most of you know we lost my mom to Pancreatic Cancer recently. Although we got to have her and be with her for 12 months since diagnosed which was a miracle!  I strive to help raise, fight for a cure to this deadly disease. This type of cancer is often found in the late stages and if you’re one of the 10% lucky ones you could get a type of surgery to help you live and extend your life. My mom was not a candidate for this surgery therefore we did what Drs recommended which was chemotherapy. Chemotherapy isn’t enough when you’re fighting this ugly disease. We did a lot more than chemo followed a whole protocol and that’s how she lived extra time. Every good scan as tiny as it could have been positive we cheered and pushed to fight some more specially when this cancer is agressive and can be metastasized. I will continue to fight for her, to help find not only a cure but we need early detection for Pancreatic Cancer. How could we not want this?!!!! So in her honor and in her loving memory I will walk this and fight for her.
