We're proud to be taking steps as a team to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, PanCAN PurpleStride!

PurpleStride is an inspiring event for anyone who has been affected by pancreatic cancer and wants to ensure vital research continues and free resources are made available to all who need them.

My name is Reyna Arreguin. I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer at the age of 13. On February 14th, 2024, I was diagnosed, and on February 19th, 2024, I was taken into surgery. I had the Whipple procedure, for those who don't know, it is a surgical procedure that changes all of your digestive organs and changes your lifestyle forever. Being diagnosed and treated so young has affected my body, my mental health, and my life. Despite all of this, I have gladly lived to see two more birthdays, and I am grateful every day for everything. I will not stop fighting for what needs to be fought for and I will not stop being strong. Through everything, I will not stop smiling. We will Wage Hope, and we will find a way to work for a cure.
