My team is committed to making the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer survivors and patients – and we need your help to do it!

We’re participating in the ultimate walk for pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 25, 2026. It’s an uplifting event that brings together survivors, caregivers, families, researchers, healthcare professionals, and more to raise money and awareness for pancreatic cancer.

This cause is deeply personal to me because my Mom passed away from it and exactly 20 years later,  February, 2024 I was diagnosed.  I had no symptoms other than I could not eat.  Prayfully, with my faith in God, he placed in my care a great  surgeon and his team of doctors from Inova Fairfax hospital.  

I participated and crossed the finish line  in the Purple Stride Walk last year in April.

 I have celebrated one year of survivorship and looking forward to reaching my 2 year anniversary this year.

One of my older sisters was diagnosed last year and is being treated now..

Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S., and research to find effective treatment options has historically been underfunded.

Because I am a survivor of pancreatic cancer, and my sister is going through it now, I’ve made it my mission to spread awareness and to help others. I’m participating in  the Purple Stride walk in April.

My fundraising will help people with pancreatic cancer and survivors receive free, personalized support, resources, and information through PanCAN Patient Services.

Part of the money raised this year will go toward increasing the survivor rate from 13% to 20% by 2030.

We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we can make. I would be grateful for your donation.
