The Margate Marchers: Stepping Forward With Purpose
The Margate Marchers are proudly raising funds for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network as we participate in PurpleStride Delaware on Saturday, April 25th. Pancreatic cancer remains one of the deadliest cancers, with a five‑year survival rate of just 13%. Together, we’re committed to helping push that number to 20% by 2030—a goal that can only be reached through awareness, research, and community support.
Our team walks each year in loving memory of my mother, Lorraine Riley, and we have been participating in PurpleStride since 2013. Over the years, this disease has touched our team deeply, taking cherished family members and friends far too soon.
In Loving Memory
We walk for those we’ve lost, honoring their strength and keeping their memories alive:

In Celebration
We also walk with hope—hope inspired by those who continue to fight and survive:
Pancreatic cancer is devastating, and its impact on our team has been profound. But together, we can make a difference. Every step we take and every dollar we raise brings us closer to earlier detection, better treatments, and more survivors.
