Dollars for the Cure is going to walk for pancreatic cancer - PurpleStride San Diego - again this year on April 25th. Over the past 10 years we have raised over $125,000 for research and early detection and are proud to say that the survival rate has gone from 8% to 13%. However, over the last two years that survival rate has not risen. It is our goal this year to increase the survival rate by raising funds for research and early detection.

We walk for 18 people who have had pancreatic cancer and have not survived. Our goal is to walk for a person who has had pancreatic cancer and has SURVIVED! We ask you to either join our team or contribute to a team member. 

All donations should be in by April 22, 2026.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
