This year, our family is walking in PanCAN PurpleStride in honor of our grandmother and mom, Carol, who we lost to pancreatic cancer this past November.

She was the heart of our family — the one who held us together, loved us fiercely, and made every holiday, visit, and ordinary day feel special. She had a deep faith and a special love for birds, always reminding us that little signs from nature were reminders that love never really leaves us. Losing her has left a space in our lives that can never be filled, but walking in her honor helps us turn some of that grief into purpose.

We’re proud to be taking steps as a team at PanCAN PurpleStride, the largest pancreatic cancer event of the year. This incredible event raises funds for life-saving research and provides free resources for patients and families facing this disease.
