Welcome to the MEC East Coast PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page! 


After an incredible PurpleStride last year, I’m excited to officially share that we’re doing it again! We’re proud to return as a team in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) and participate in this year's PurpleStride event on Saturday April 25th, 2026.

Thanks to everyone’s support last year, we showed what this group can accomplish when we come together for a cause that truly matters. This year, we’re building on that momentum and aiming even higher. As you know, PanCAN focuses on research, patient support, advocacy, and community outreach. This cause remains especially meaningful to several of our coworkers, including Jack Scott, who have and who continue to be personally affected by pancreatic cancer. PurpleStride is our way to stand with them and with every family impacted by this disease.

Why PanCAN? 

PanCAN is dedicated to defeating pancreatic cancer through groundbreaking research, personalized patient support, community outreach, and advocacy. Through PurpleStride, participants raise funds that help: advance vital research to develop new and better treatment options, provide free, one-on-one support through PanCAN Patient Services for patients and families, and expand advocacy and awareness efforts nationwide.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
