Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Hi, my name is Leo, and I’m 12 years old.  My Bar Mitzvah is coming up in August and something you do for it is called doing a mitzvah project, where you do good deeds to help the world. For mine, I decided to make and lead a team for this walk in honor of my Bubby, Harriet Mauer, who died of pancreatic cancer in July. I am sad that she can’t be at the Bar Mitzvah, so to keep her part of it I did my project for her. She cared about doing things for charity and other good work for the community. She helped so many people through her work as a social worker, and so that inspires me to try to do good things for people. She told me about when she ran for class president, her slogan was Mauer Power so that’s why I picked the name for the team. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network does research and other important things to try and help people like my Bubby, and they need our support. We hope you will consider walking with us or making a donation. Thanks for being part of the team!

To make the biggest difference, we’ve set an ambitious team fundraising goal and need your help – will you donate to our fundraiser? You can donate directly to the team (which will not go toward a specific team member’s goal) or you can select a team member and donate toward that person's fundraising goal (which will also support the team’s goal)!
