For the fifth year, Team Screen is raising money for PurpleStride, an event which is taking place this year on April 25, 2026, to support the important and valuable work that Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) has done to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer and, in particular, to promote screening and early detection.  

Like many, our fight against pancreatic cancer is personal.  In Sid's case, he was fortunate to have a doctor who, after reviewing his genetic and family history, ordered an MRI which showed a small tumor that could be removed surgically before it spread.  For Team Screen, PurpleStride provides us with the chance to pay forward the lifesaving work carried out by PanCAN every day, so that others can get the screening, information and attention they need to detect and defeat the world's deadliest major cancer.  

We hope that you will support us by making a gift of any size.  You can donate to a specific team member or make a general donation to our team.  Our goal remains to once again raise more than $100,000.  

As this will be our fifth year participating in PurpleStride, we are marking the occasion by inviting our friends and family, who have so generously supported Team Screen for so many years, to join our team and walk with us in New York City on April 25 at what is truly an inspiring event.  Lox and bagels will be provided!​
