Hello Christy & Sandy’s Crew!

We’re walking for family. We’re walking for hope.

In 2024, our family’s world changed when my sister was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. One year later, we were hit again when my mother received the same diagnosis.

This fight is deeply personal for us and it’s one we refuse to face alone.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, we’re walking in PanCAN PurpleStride as Christy & Sandy’s Crew to honor my sister and my mom, and to stand with every family impacted by this disease. PurpleStride funds life-saving research, provides patient support, and gives hope where it’s needed most.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
