We’re walking Pan CAN Purple Stride this year in honor of Casey our dearly loved son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. In December 2025, Casey lost his fight with this horrible disease at age 42.

Nothing prepares you for the pain of watching your loved one fight a disease you can’t protect them from. Pancreatic cancer took so much from our family, and not a day goes by that we don’t carry that loss with us. But we also carry Casey’s strength, courage, and the love that will never leave us.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, and it brings together families like ours - parents, siblings, friends - who have been forever changed by this disease. We walk to honor those we’ve lost, to support those still fighting, and to make sure research continues so other families don’t have to endure this same heartbreak.

We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal because progress matters. Research matters. Hope matters.
