Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Thank you for being here! For those who knew Michael, you know he lived with a bold, wholehearted energy. He was headstrong in his beliefs, passionate about the things he loved most—his family, the Dallas Cowboys, good food, and traveling the globe. To know him often meant debating with him, laughing with him, and always loving him.

Michael dedicated that same passion into his career, serving as a federal agent with the DEA for 24 years. He was fiercely loyal to his work and carried the responsibility of his role with pride and integrity.

When Michael was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in September 2024, our world shifted. On May 5, 2025, at just 54 years old, he left us far too soon. He still had so much to give—to his family, to his friends, and to the world. He was a son, husband, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and a friend to many. His absence is felt deeply, but so is the impact he made.

Raising funds for pancreatic cancer research gives us a sense of purpose and allows us to honor Michael’s strength and courage by helping others who may one day face this devastating disease. If there is anything we can do to carry forward his legacy, this is one meaningful step—and we’re asking for your help.

Together, we can bring hope to the thousands of patients and families who will be affected by pancreatic cancer. Cinco de Mayo will forever hold new meaning for us. Michael made sure we’d never forget him, and from now on, we’ll celebrate CincO de MicHael—a day filled with love, remembrance, and the spirit he carried so boldly. And if you knew Michael, you know he’d appreciate the nod to his beloved Ohio State.

Thank you for helping us honor Michael in a way that brings light, hope, and possibility to others.

To make the biggest difference, we’ve set an ambitious team fundraising goal and need your help – will you donate to our fundraiser? You can donate directly to the team (which will not go toward a specific team member’s goal) or you can select a team member and donate toward that person's fundraising goal (which will also support the team’s goal)! Join our team and come celebrate Michael's life.

A gift of any size will provide much-needed hope for a brighter future for the entire pancreatic cancer community.

Again, thank you for supporting us and everyone affected by pancreatic cancer. We’re grateful for you and your support!
