Welcome to our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!
This team walks for my late, Mama, Mary, who suddenly and unexpectedly passed from Pancreatic Cancer and went on to heaven in April 2024.
We walk for Aunt Terry whom is currently fighting Pancreatic Cancer.
We walk for Uncle Victor whom passed away February 2026 from Pancreatic Cancer.
We walk for Nancy's sister whom passed away from Pancreatic Cancer several years ago.
Our team is rallied together to HELP in the fight against Pancreatic Cancer. We walk on Saturday, April 25, 2026, to raise funds for the PanCAN PurpleStride Network.
This fundraiser is for research, better detection, new treatments, and to provide patients with continued free, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.
Please give a $25 gift or more to help patients and families facing the devastating pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
This cancer is a SNEAKY @^*'!!!
We had NO OBVIOUS WARNING with our beautiful Mama!!!
She felt abdominal pain, progressively lost her appetite, when was diagnosed with advanced (stage 4) pancreatic cancer. 19 days later, my Mama was called to Heaven.
This SNEAKY cancer was sudden, and it came on strong!!!
Had there been better testing available, my beautiful, kind, loving, giving, Mama might still be with us. The JOY THAT SHE WAS, would still be here to help brighten this earth.
Roughly the same time, 2024, my beautiful Aunt Terry began her battle with cancer. During her surgery for another condition, her Pancreatic Cancer was COINCIDENTLY discovered. My kind, sweet, lovable Aunt Terry is fighting strong today 2026.
Please give as best you can, to honor those that we have lost, to help those that ARE and those THAT WILL be battling this cancer.
We walk to help RAISE the current 13%, 5-year survival rate.
Yes, you read that correctly!!! Out of 100 diagnoses ONLY 13% survive past 5 years.
PanCan is striving for a 20% survival rate by the year 2030.
It takes REASEARCH and it takes money to fund the research.
We Can help!!
We CAN MAKE IT BETTER!!!
LET'S DO THIS!!!
Please WAGE HOPE and donate by selecting the DONATE “button” on our page.
Thank you, in advance.
Sincerely,
Susie Singleton
