Janet Lee Bestland (Jan) was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to many.
She was thoughtful and kind, loyal, outgoing, funny, always up for adventure, and oh so much fun. She loved dancing, singing, roads trips, estate sales, family game night competitions, cheering her grandkids on at their sporting events, and negotiating a good bargain. She was a mover and a shaker, and she got things done.
Jan was a real-life Wonder Woman, an inspiration, and the epitome of strength, not only during her fight with pancreatic cancer, but throughout her life.
Jan's Jam Squad | Walking in Love and Remembrance
In loving memory of Jan, Jan's Jam Squad is proudly walking in PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year — PanCAN PurpleStride and taking steps forward toward ending pancreatic cancer.
PurpleStride is an inspiring event for anyone who has been affected by pancreatic cancer, wants to ensure vital research continues, and free resources are made available to all who need them.
Jan's Jam Squad has set an ambitious fundraising goal to raise $1,000 for PurpleStride, and a gift of any size will provide much-needed hope for a brighter future for the entire pancreatic cancer community.
Want to join us at PurpleStride? Now’s the time! Register for free and take steps with us – everyone who registers and raises or self-donates $100 or more will earn the official PanCAN PurpleStride T-shirt!
Thank you for considering supporting Jan's Jam Squad and everyone affected by pancreatic cancer. We look forward to remembering and honoring Jan on Saturday, April 25 and are grateful for your support!
