Mike was a generous father, brother, uncle, and friend who could always make you laugh - the kind of person who made every moment better just by being there. His favorite things in life consisted of Top Gun, long bike rides, a cold Pepsi, joyrides in his red Jeep Wrangler, and evenings spent watching his kids play soccer.

Through Mike’s courageous battle, his family saw firsthand how devastating and unforgiving pancreatic cancer can be. You can read more about his journey and final months here:

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

TEAM FUHSER has raised over $11,000 for pancreatic cancer research in three years!

On April 25, 2026, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will take steps together at nearly 60 PurpleStride events across the nation to honor everyone affected by the disease. It’s an inspirational day to celebrate survivors and honor those we've lost, including Mike.

TEAM FUHSER is comprised of anyone that knew and loved Mike, raising money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

Here’s where you come in! We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would appreciate a gift of any size to help us get there.
