Walking in memory of Boni!

We walk in memory of my late wife Boni, and because we don't want to see another family go through what we went through during her battle with PC.  

The hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life was tell my kids their Mom was not going to survive this disease.  I don't want to see another parent have to tell their young children that their mother or father will die soon as a result of PC.  

What we went through changed all of us and it's a journey I don't wish upon anyone.  The only way we have a chance of preventing this is through increased research in how to better treat this disease so that hopefully, one day, a treatment will be found.

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 10%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
