This is year 16 of riding/striding in memory of my amazing mom, Patricia Leisenheimer, who died from pancreatic cancer on April 27, 2007. I am also  honoring the memory of Randy McEwen(my friend Royce's brother), Margie Williams(my friend Felicia's mother), and my friend Kathy Wittnebel.  


Though the survival rate for this cancer is slowly creeping upwards, we still have a long way to go and are losing too many to this terrible cancer.   I will be striding this year instead of riding as I am recovering from surgery and not ready to bike yet!  This years walk is at beautiful Harriet Island in St Paul.  Come join me if you can by signing up on the PAL's Pride Team roster!

I'm sure the spirit of solidarity in this fight will be felt by all those participating, whether in person or through donating!
