I AM A 15-YEAR PANCREATIC CANCER SURVIVOR! 

And PurpleStride is the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

That's why I'm taking steps with ANN'S DREAM TEAM to raise funds to support Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) by participating in Philly's PURPLESTRIDE on April 27. I'm walking to honor the memory of my mother Ann, my grandmother Ida, and to celebrate my cousin Robert's and my survival. 

Pancreatic cancer now has just a 5-year 13% survival rate and is the 3rd leading cause of cancer related death in the U.S.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
