Guess what time it is?!?! PurpleStride time!

I'm raising money to support the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in memory of my mom, Carol Noll.  She died of pancreatic cancer in 2006 after a 2 year battle with the disease.

Did you know that as of 2016, pancreatic cancer is now the third leading cause of cancer death in the United States, killing more people each year than breast cancer?  Although far fewer people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, the mortality rate is incredibly high - only 12% of patients survive more than 5 years past diagnosis. 

Thanks to PanCAN's approach to fighting pancreatic cancer, the survival rate reached double digits for the first time in 2020. By making a donation on this page, you are supporting the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network's efforts to increase the survival rate to 20% by 2030 by funding scientific research, leading an early detection initiative, and more.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
