Pancreatic cancer became personal for me when my Uncle Joel passed away from this devastating disease. Joel was a talented chef, and to honor his memory, our team, Joel’s Chefs, has been participating in PurpleStride in his memory since 2010. Every year, we walk to raise awareness, fund groundbreaking research, and support patients and families fighting pancreatic cancer today.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, I’ll be taking steps at PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer—and I need your help!

Every donation makes a difference, funding critical research, free personalized support for patients, and advocacy efforts that push for better treatment options. Your gift, no matter the size, brings hope to those affected by this disease.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
