Pancreas cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers and is woefully underfunded by the National Cancer Institute. I have been a GI oncology nurse for 25 + years. I have had the privilege to help pancreas cancer patients from diagnosis to treatment.  In 2016 my baby sister, Tammy lost her life to pancreas cancer. She was a veteran and was also an RN who worked in a Veteran's Hospital taking care of our nations military personnel. She always gave of herself, to her patients and to her fellow service members. Pancreas cancer continues to affect all good people, it has no prejudice. It is a devastating disease that has not made big strides in finding a cure, I believe, due to lack of funding and the difficulty in treating this aggressive disease. Last year, I was the Co-affliate chair for PanCan as I believe in their mission and the powerful, important work they do to help patients and their families.

Every year, I ask for your financial support for this great organization. It is a cause I believe in and an organization that truly makes a difference in the lives of pancreas cancer patients. I have love for all persons who have been touched by this disease. Faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is LOVE.
