As a 22-year survivor, I am proud that Team Quon has participated in PurpleStride for over 14 years and raised over $400,000 for this important cause. We hope to raise at least $30,000 this year.

I’m going to help make progress, with your support.

This year is significant to me. I just finished a very harrowing 37 days (!) in the hospital for a successful pancreatic cancer surgery, but with multiple complications. I had many tough weeks of recovery at home and still more to go to feel "normal" again. Husband Joel was my heroic nurse and caregiver for the entire journey. 

I hope I am strong enough to participate on April 27 in PanCAN’s nation-wide PurpleStride to raise funds for life-changing programs and services benefitting pancreatic cancer patients and their families. 

Every dollar you give means more patients can benefit from PanCAN’s free, one-on-one support, personalized information, service, and resources that can make a real difference in their lives.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
