As a 23-year survivor, I am proud that Team Quon has participated in PurpleStride for over 15 years and raised over $454,000 for this important cause. We hope to raise at least $40,000 this year and maybe even crack the $500,000 mark!

I've survived multiple recurrences of this cancer, including a tough surgery in 2024. I am thrilled that advances in pancreatic cancer research has helped my survival--the average survival rate is now 13% vs. 5% in 2002. We have confirmed that Federal funding for pancreatic cancer research has been totally eliminated this year.

Team Quon is once again participating in PanCAN’s nation-wide PurpleStride on April 26 to raise funds for life-changing programs and services benefitting pancreatic cancer patients and their families. 

If you donate on Wed, April 2, your donation may be doubled up to $2,500 by a nationwide $1M grant. Yes, doubled until the funds run out! 

Every dollar you give means more patients can benefit from PanCAN’s free, one-on-one support, personalized information, service, and resources that can make a real difference in their lives.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
