It’s hard to believe over 10 years has past since dad lost his battle to pancreatic cancer. Cheers to everyone that has supported this cause since we started. It really means the world to my family.

As we walk in remembrance, its not just my dad we honor, but also Gloria Lupkey, Tony Sabatino and Dorothy Wattelet. These walks serve as an annual celebration of their lives and the lasting impressions they've left on us. We carry their memories with us as we move forward, grateful for the impact they've had on our lives. ​​

PurpleStride is in-person on Sat., April 17th at the Grandview Amphitheater this year. It will be a family walk, no timed run. Hoping for a beautiful morning!

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
