Hi all, 

This is the 15th year Andy and Betty's Brigade is walking to end pancreatic cancer. The team is named after my mom and dad who were diagnosed within a year of one another and succumbed to the disease. My dad lived 3 months, my mom almost made it to 4 years. In Decmeber of 2024, my brother Anthony (Tony) was diagnosed with Stage 1 pancreatic cancer. We were shocked to learn this, but the doctors are hopeful as it was caught at Stage 1, which has a higher percentage rate of survival after 5 years. (44%). However, pancreatic cancer is a silent cancer and is often undiagnosed until it's stage 3 or 4 and the over five year survival rate is 11-13%. On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
