Welcome to Jody's Fundraising Page

It has been six years since Ed passed away, but I continue to honor Ed's memory through my volunteer work with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and I will continue to fight for all those still battling this deadly disease. This year, I will continue to raise as much money as possible to fight this, the deadliest of all cancers. There continues to be no screening test and it is currently the third leading cause of all cancer deaths in the U.S. The 5 year survival rate for patients remains at a mere 13%, which is totally unacceptable. This coming year, all the PurpleStrides across the country will be held on one day, April 27. By making this a national event, we hope to bring more attention to our cause and increase our much needed fundraising for research.

I appreciate and thank all my family and friends who have been so generous and supportive for so long. Can you still join me in the battle? I am asking you to please join Team Quinn again this year and please donate if you can. No amount is too small. Let's keep our team going in honor of Ed. Thanks for all you do and have done. Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
