The "Fighting Feavers" will once again stride in honor and memory of Steve, my husband and Best Friend.  This year, I will also be striding for my brother in law, Rick, who thankfully was  diagnosed early and successfully treated. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network was  an invaluable resource for him throughout his journey.  He immediately received helpful information, as well as hope and a new mindset on how to move forward.   They assisted him with many things including connecting him with a surgeon and a hospital and were also able to help him get enrolled in a clinical trial 

Pancreatic cancer does not stop or slow down and neither does our passion for this cause,   We continue to participate in Purple Stride to help make a difference and raise awareness so that hopefully some day soon, there will be a cure for this horrible disease.   I am so grateful for family and friends who have helped us in this fight. The Fighting Feavers have been a top fundraising team for the past 10 years raising a collective total of $148,724!  It has been truly amazing and it is my hope that we can raise even more this year - But - we need your help!!  With your generous support and participation we can get even closer to finding a cure.  Please join us as we run/walk to end Pancreatic Cancer

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
