Welcome to My Personal Page

Hello friends and family!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued support for advancing research and awareness of pancreatic cancer. Because of you, we are making progress. For the first time - the 5 year survival rate is in the double digits at 10%.

Your support has funded several programs including:

  1. Precision Promise - An adaptive clinical trial platform that allows patients to test multiple clinical trial therapies at the same time against the standard of care.  We now have patients enrolled in sites that opened earlier this year.

  2. Early Detection Initiative - We are partnering with the National Cancer Institute for a study called NOD (New Onset Diabetes) to look at 10K people across the country with a recent elevation in blood sugar and follow them along their medical journey and see if we can gain any insights.

  3. Know Your Tumor - A patient can receive (free of charge) molecular profiling of their tumor and will be provided a report  that  provides insight and treatment options to their healthcare team to support treatment decisions.  The insight provided is based in part on the compiled and collective data from all of the participants in the Know Your Tumor program.

  4. Patient Services - in 2019 alone we had 13,000 new patient contacts; 41,000 total interactions with patients and families.

  5. Research Funding - $105 million dollars since 1999

  6. Advocacy - Last year we secured $6 million in a dedicated pancreatic cancer research program at the DOD.  This year we asked for $10 million… and just last week we learned that the House of Representatives passed a DOD bill that includes $15 million for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Program.

Yours truly,

Anggie
