Welcome to My Personal Page

Dear Family and Friends,

In 1996, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  It was a reality that I didn’t fully comprehend until years later.  My recovery was challenging.  But I was beyond blessed to have my family by my side supporting me through it all.  I am grateful for their unconditional love, and unwavering faith that I would not only survive and but also thrive.

This year, I’d like to dedicate my fundraising to caregivers… and especially to my mom, Lolita Lapid, who provided me with guidance, encouragement, and the never-give-up spirit.  She was the solid foundation of who I am today, and the rock of our family.

Mom passed away peacefully on July 11, 2024. I miss her physical presence dearly, but I know that she still watches over us and guides us.

With gratitude,

Anggie

P.S.  This picture was taken in 2013 at my first PurpleStride.  I was the survivor speaker back  then.   And mom was my biggest cheerleader.
