A soul as sweet as candy....
My Dad, Armando Morales, was known as the Candy Man. Standing at 6 feet 3 inches he was a gentle giant who turned to mush when his grandchildren were near. He spoiled them by doing things like taking them for ice cream after school and hid candy in between the branches of our Christmas trees. He loved his family more than life itself. Nothing brought him more joy than the happy smiles beaming from all our faces.
I lost my Dad to pancreatic cancer on September 27, 2014 after being diagnosed only 8 months prior to his death. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think about him and feel the great loss of his physical presence. But we are given hope knowing there are people fighting to win this war against PC. They fight for their lost loved ones like us, they fight for those who are survivors and some of those survivors fight for themselves. Join me in honoring the thousands who have been affected by this deadly disease.
By making a donation to me, you are supporting efforts to double survival for this deadly disease by 2020.
