On  Saturday, April 27, 2024, I will be participating in PurpleStride 2024, in memory of my Dad, Marvin Warshay.

My Dad was an incredibly kind, loving, intelligent and positive person.  And funny—boy was he funny!  I remember him with love, and often with love and laughter every day. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in July, 2015.  After a courageous, 2 year battle, he passed away on July 11, 2017. 

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org) attacks pancreatic cancer on all fronts: research, clinical initiatives, patient services and advocacy. The 5-year survival rate has increased to 13%.  It's an improvement, but it's not high enough!
