Obviously if you are here, you know that Pancreatic Cancer has rocked our world this year.  On September 14th Deb received the devastating diagnosis that she had a mass on her pancreas, which was subsequently confirmed to be pancreatic cancer.  

The support we have received to date has been amazing, from our team at Hopkins/Sibley, to our friends and family who have supported us with visits, meals, gift cards, flowers, calls, texts, and other messages.  

But that's not enough.  Pancreatic cancer affects more and more people each year and we need to find ways to end it.

If you want to walk with us on April 29th, please join the team and you can fundraise under your own name.  If you can't join us for whatever reason, please feel free to donate under my name, Deb's or anyone else's.  It all goes to PanCAN.

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
