I stride in memory of my brother Jerry.  Pancreatic cancer is the #3 cause of cancer death -- yet there is no early detection screening test. Many lives are  saved by screening for breast, colon, and prostate cancer. But most pancreatic cancer patients are diagnosed so late that 2/3 die within a year of diagnosis. Continued research will lead to a reliable screening test and better treatments. Your donation of $5 or more means you're making a difference. PanCAN attacks this disease with research, patient services, advocacy and community involvement. Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
