Welcome to My Personal Page

Pancreatic cancer has invaded my family's lives for many years. This dreadful disease has taken my Aunt Bessie Smith, my Uncle Mashe Rodner, my father-in-law - Henry Rosendale Sr., and my mother - "Bubby" Joan Marsha Rodner Block. These were wonderful, caring, family-oriented loved-ones in my life, who were struck down by this disease. 


My mother was diagnosed in the summer of 2016. She was a fighter and a survivor, as she battled the disease for three years. We were very lucky to have her with us for those three years, as others have been diagnosed and passed within a very short amount of time. We said a tearful goodbye to my mother in August 28, 2019. 


Bubby's Babes is our team name, but it's really so much more than that. Everyone who met Bubby became a Bubby's Babe. She loved us all. On April 27 (as well as everyday!), we will think about Bubby as we walk to raise money for the Pancreatic Action Network. 


I am walking in the Purple Stride in memory of my mother - Bubby Joan, as well as in memory of Aunt Bessie, Uncle Mashe, and Dad Rosendale.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
