Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser! I have lost 3 loved ones to this disease since 2011, and have another friend who is currently fighting it. If you're not familiar with pancreatic cancer, it's the 3rd leading cause of cancer-related death in the U.S. and is expected to be the 2nd by 2030. PanCAN has helped the survival rate increase 1% each year for the past few years through their research, and it just recently went up to 13%. I started volunteering with the Las Vegas affiliate last year, and this year I agreed to be the chair for PurpleStride Las Vegas.

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need you to do it!

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
