Thiird Annivarsary with my 90 year old sister

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 10%. Nearly 60,000 individuals will be diagnosed this year. 80% will die within 12 months. Evne those lucky enough to have surgery will see 50% die within 5 years. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination. This year's Purple Stride march will be the fourth anniversary of my personal diagnosis with Pancreatic adenocarcinoma. While I'm dealing with a local recurrence I am doing well. I'm helping encourage and counsel other victims every day and enthusiastically supporting increased funding for research into this terrible disease.

I’ve stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help me rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?

Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating today, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join me in the fight today.
